The group (G)I-DLE has made a comeback with a five-member system after a break of about a year and two months.

(G)I-DLE said in an online showcase before the release of their first full-length album "I NEVER DIE" on the 14th, "I'm looking forward to seeing how they'll see our music as we're back with a new look."

(G)I-DLE debuted in May 2018 and has released mini albums and singles, but this is the first full-length album.Moreover, the withdrawal of member Soo-jin changed the team.

After more than a year of preparation, the album is titled "I Never Die."It literally contains the message, "I will never die."

Leader So-yeon said, "I wanted to show the spirit and determination of our children in the title."I wanted to show the world view of 'I Never Die' in a big picture.Member Minnie introduced the album as "Just Me" and said, "The children are children and I am me."Shuhua said, "I'm looking forward to it as it's been a long time since I madeWe've worked hard on it, so we'll show you a good performance," he said confidently.

 

The title track is "Tomboy."It is a song that fully reveals (G)I-DLE's unique confidence.All the songs Soyeon participated in the process of writing, composing and arranging the song stand out with straightforward lyrics.The sound of a slightly rough but magnificent instrument adds to the voices of the members, giving them a strong feeling.

"It's a song that I'm confident as I've prepared for a long time," Soyeon said after her first performance on the day.I hope you will love this song a lot, too."

(G)I-DLE has topped iTunes album charts in 52 regions around the world, gaining huge popularity with "hwa" released last year.It also set a record of dominating major music charts in Korea.

Yuqi said, "I like my track record, but I thought I should work hard through this activity and do what I want to do.I want to leave it strong again in the memory of my fans after a long time," he said.

"If we win first place on the music charts, we will film and upload special videos with the concepts that our fans have chosen," Minnie said. "We can do what our fans have decided on our outfits, makeup, and concepts."
