An actor who transcends age and reverses gender appeared.Lee Yeon is an actor who perfectly played Baek Sung-woo, a middle school boy in the OTT platform Netflix series "Boy Judgment."When the 28-year-old woman played "Baek Sung-woo," many people poured out their attention, calling it "shocking."

"I never expected it to be this hot topic.People around me told me that I would leave an impression because it's a character with a twist, but I couldn't afford to feel it completely. However, the number of SNS followers has increased a lot.Haha. I tend to read the comments carefully.I was really touched when I saw the comment, "Please act hard while you live."I've been wanting to act for a long time, but I'm touched that I have someone to support me with."

In a recent interview with "Sports Trends," Lee Yeon told a variety of stories, including how she felt about meeting "boy referee," the process of preparing for "Baek Sung-woo," and the direction she wants to move forward.

""I weighed 5 kilograms and paid attention to the details to act as a middle school boy criminal."

When the "Boy Judgment" was released, it was his passion for acting that broke through the barriers of gender and age.

"At the time of the audition, I shaved my head for an independent film shoot, so he suggested Baek Sung-woo to the production team.I gained 5kg to save my character, and most of all, I paid close attention to my walking and hand movements.Children use their hands a lot, and I thought it was an expression of emotion, so I tried to reflect those points."

I was worried that I would appear to be a young juvenile criminal, but I was able to dispel doubts with a clear word of advice from the director.

"I was worried that viewers would see me like that, but the director advised, 'In real juvenile courts, juvenile offenders are wearing their own clothes, and I can't tell their age.'I was able to act with a lot of confidence when I heard that."

While playing Baek Sung-woo, I felt sorry for him as an adult. When asked what he wanted to say if he wanted to meet "Baek Sung-woo," he burst into tears.

"Well, what can I say?I don't think there's anyone I can do for you, so I think I can just ask 'Have you eaten'?Regardless of the weight of sin, I feel sorry for the voice actor I see as an adult. He's not guilty but fearless. He'll be scared, but no one's gonna protect him.I'm sorry about the environment."

He also asked about his wishes for season 2.

Personally, I hope Kwak Do-seok (Song Deok-ho) wakes up.And I hope there will be more stories after the juvenile offenders are punished.I want to know why it didn't work and how it was after the trial. And I really hope 'Sung-woo' can be reformed."

■"Fan of Jeon Doyeon, I want to work on it."

He made a strong impression in several films, including the independent films "The Bold Man," "Cosmos," and "The Jeolhae Pass."

"I really love independent films.I want to keep doing it.Commercial films, too.Are you greedy?Hahaha. If there's a good story, I'd love to be on the show.It doesn't matter what genre or character it is."

On the other hand, it's always thrilling to see that his acting skills are improving.

"I hope my acting continues to improve.I'm proud that I feel like I'm improving a little bit by bit.At first, I didn't want to see more of my acting, but now I'm getting more and more "It's okay."I think we've done a great job."

His role model is Jeon Do-yeon.

"I'm a senior I want to act with.I'm a huge fan.I really want to see you on the spot.I want to learn how to act by watching them.I want to know who you are."

Starting with the 2018 movie "The Unknown," he has been running small but fruitfully. When asked about the driving force, he gave a simple but simple answer.

"Like 'Boy Judgment', if you give a meaningful message to the viewer, good results are given and many people are inspired, then nothing is as driving as that.I can't express my feelings through writing or speaking. When I feel that my sincerity is being conveyed, it's all the driving force behind me."
